Hi! My name is George. I am a software engineer, project manager and financial market enthusiast.

About me

I hold Master’s degree in Computer Science from ITMO University, one of the leading Russian CS school. After graduating I also taught Haskell there and I highly recommend our course. I have experience and knowledge in many areas of Computer Science, most notably in Distributed systems and Functional programming.

Over my professional career I was working on podcast website, brokerage software, co-founded and PMed a SaaS startup. Last few years I was working in Blockchain space and among other things I took a pivotal role in launching Cardano blockchain mainnet, developing coinswap engine StakerBridge and Morley toolkit for developing Tezos contracts.

Currently I’m at O(1) labs, working on networking stack of Mina Protocol, which I find one of the most exciting blockchain technologies.

I live in Andorra with my lovely wife Ekaterina and a newborn son Yakov. In my free time I love hiking, listening classical music, studying Cryptography, Economics and Finance, practicing my German and reading Proust.
